What I'm Reading
The Goodreads Choice Awards, which began in 2009, is like the Oscars to me. Every year, millions of votes are cast by Goodreads readers to decide the best books of the year. I'm always curious to see which books have made the cut because, seriously, who can beat Goodreads readers? I should know. I'm one of them!

This year has seen strong, courageous women fight back against the patriarchal society we live in. And the Goodreads Choice Awards 2017 winners reflect that. This year, 15 of the 20 books chosen were written by women - Angie Thomas won in two categories - Debut Goodreads Author and Young Adult Fiction.

Here are the winners for this year's Goodreads Choice Winners. Just in time for the holidays!
