THE WOMAN IN BLACK

What I"m Reading

What's the scariest book you've ever read? I can tell you mine. "The Woman in Black" by Susan Hill. Just thinking about it gives me chills. It was published on October 10, 1983 -- way before I was born. I basically grew up with no TV from the age of eight to 12; so, I read books, and made up stories to entertain my brothers. Diary

There I was, on the train, nose stuck in my iPhone, typing away. I’m sure curious train riders were wondering...what is that girl writing? Well, though my book is finished (thank god), it’s not really finished. I’ve been editing it. First drafts are always a pain to look at and mine is no exception, so I’ve been tightening it and fixing my grammar and loving every minute of the process. Read More

Lifestyle

Since the eclipse, we've seen two deadly hurricanes and the strongest earthquake that Mexico has had in a century. We've also had to deal with one of the most, if not the most, traumatic Presidencies of our lifetime. I don't mean to sound alarmed but I am. I also want to take your mind off all of that for a few minutes because, let's face it, constant bad news are bad for our nerves. Read More
